South Georgia Medical Center Hires New Administrative Director of Surgical Services
Whitman Partners recently placed Randy Weeks as the Administrative Director of Surgical Services at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. The position oversees 10,000 cases per month. Previously, Mr. Weeks worked as the Market Director of Perioperative Services at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte and Bayfront Health Punta Gorda in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Mr. Weeks has been working in healthcare for over 26 years. He started in the field after graduating from the Community College of Denver as a certified surgical technician. Three years later, he earned his associates degree of nursing from the same school. In 2008, he received his BSN from St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. At that time, he had already worked his way up through the ranks in the hospitals of the area and was working as a director of surgical services.
