The report contains the results of a national online survey of 100 healthcare industry human resource professionals regarding current challenges and opportunities associated with the recruiting, hiring, and retention of select minority populations, including BIPOC communities.

The challenges considered most significant when hiring C-level employees included a lack of qualified candidates (39% said this was a great challenge), as well as organizational resistance (35%). Organizational resistance appears to be an especially high concern for rural organizations (62%).
