Director of Surgical Services placement at Baptist Memorial Hospital
Whitman Partners congratulates Terry Bain who is the new Director of Surgical Services at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Terry began his 25-year clinical career as an OR nurse and eventually served in the US Army Nurse Corps. His experience included Level 1 Trauma ER, Surgical Services, and the Burn Unit. He was also a member of the 946th Forward Surgical Team for Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Eagle. In his most recent role, he was Administrative Director of Perioperative Services at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, leading over 280 nurses, ancillary staff, and six direct reports. He instituted a Perioperative Council with surgeons and leadership, a collaborative group focused on improving efficiencies and throughput. He is a passionate leader for patients, families, and staff.
